Mrs. Brown on Women's Rights.
London: George Routledge and Sons, n.d. [c.1872]. Presumed early reprint. Hardcover. 'Mrs Brown' spouting in her forceful and malapropinquitous vernacular: but, in a humour all too familiar, not a force for liberation. (iv) (publishers' list), 154pp. Early ownership name to adverts, title, and rear pastedown: also shelf number to title page, so perhaps an ex-library copy. Some soiling to prelims, contents good: title strip excised from head of p13/14. In a dull three-quarter binding of pebble cloth with marbled boards: firm, but rubbed and faded, with remnant of paper spine label. It hasn't the publishers' colourful pictorial boards, but any early copies of this title are uncommon. Good. Item #18729040
